While the Clinical Facilitators Network was founded by a team at Welcome Care Services, it is made up of facilitators from different organisations within aged disability and acute care.

Our network links clinical facilitators dedicated to improving patient care and results.

To maintain a safe, respectful, and productive environment, all members of the Clinical Facilitators Network agree to uphold the following group norms:

Professionalism at All Times

• Keep all posts, comments, and interactions respectful and constructive. • Avoid sharing confidential or identifying information about clients, staff, or workplaces. Maintain ethical standards that reflect well on the sector and the people we support

Collaboration Over Competition

• This is a space for mutual growth, not comparison or rivalry. • Share resources, tools, and insights that help others improve quality of care and facilitation. • Celebrate collective wins and support one another through challenges.

Constructive Feedback is Encouraged

• Offer feedback in a spirit of growth, not criticism. • When giving feedback, be specific, kind, and solution-focused. • When receiving feedback, remain open and reflective.

Stay Curious and Open-Minded

• Embrace diverse perspectives, experiences, and disciplines. • Ask questions. Share learning. Encourage innovation. • Be willing to unlearn and relearn in the interest of better support outcomes.

Use Inclusive and Clear Language

• Avoid jargon or acronyms unless you explain them. • Use person-first language and avoid terms that may be outdated or offensive. • Ensure communication is accessible and inclusive of all sectors and levels of experience.

Maintain a Learning Alignment

• We’re all here to learn from one another. No one knows everything, and no clinical challenge is solved in isolation. • Share both successes and lessons learned from mistakes.

Protect the Integrity of the Network

• No unsolicited marketing or spam. • Posts promoting services, events, or tools must clearly benefit members and align with the group’s purpose. • If unsure, contact an administrator before posting.

Respect all Contributions

Every member brings unique knowledge and experience, as such, all voices are valued. • During in person interactions, Listen actively and without judgment. • Avoid interrupting or dismissing others.

Be respectful of others’ privacy

Being in this group depends on our trust of one another. Some discussions may be sensitive or contain sensitive information, so what’s said in the group should stay in the group.
