Expression of Interest: Disability Support Workers:


  • Hold at least Certificate III individual support, Mental Health, Disability Work/similar, Aged Care or Community Services, or higher.

  • All prospective staff will be required to have or willing to obtain the following:

  • NDIS Worker  Screening

  • Working with children check

  • First aid Certificate/CPR.

  • Covid-19 Vaccination.

  • CPI Safety Intervention Foundation Training (MAPA).

  • Assist with medication certificate.

  • Undertake NDIS Worker Orientation Program and any other state requirements before commencing work.

  • Full South Australian Driver’s licence.

  • Reliable and comprehensively insured vehicle.

Essential Qualities/ Experience:

  • At least six months relevant experience is desirable.

  • Willingness to work with NDIS participants .


  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Ability to build rapport with participants.

  • Strong time management and ability to prioritise.

  • Ability to use Microsoft Office suite of programs and other computer systems for record keeping.

  • Excellent problem solving and conflict management skills.

  • Ability to work as part of a team and to maintain good working relationships.
