Expression of Interest: Disability Support Workers:
Requirements
-
Hold at least Certificate III individual support, Mental Health, Disability Work/similar, Aged Care or Community Services, or higher.

All prospective staff will be required to have or willing to obtain the following:
-
NDIS Worker Screening
-
Working with children check
-
First aid Certificate/CPR.
-
Covid-19 Vaccination.
-
CPI Safety Intervention Foundation Training (MAPA).
-
Assist with medication certificate.
-
Undertake NDIS Worker Orientation Program and any other state requirements before commencing work.

Full South Australian Driver’s licence.

Reliable and comprehensively insured vehicle.
Essential Qualities/ Experience:
-
At least six months relevant experience is desirable.

Willingness to work with NDIS participants .
Skills
-
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-
Ability to build rapport with participants.
-
Strong time management and ability to prioritise.
-
Ability to use Microsoft Office suite of programs and other computer systems for record keeping.

Excellent problem solving and conflict management skills.
-
Ability to work as part of a team and to maintain good working relationships.
